Exchange & Return Policy

Items purchased can be returned for a full refund within 7 days as long as equipment and packaging is NEW/UNOPENED. Must be in "as new" condition, free of visible marks, scratches or defects, and complete with all original components and packaging materials.

Exception: New cameras and lenses are not returnable so that we may ensure that all customers have new, never used, repacked products.

All other equipment that is OPENED/USED will be subject to a 15%restocking fee or refusal of return at the stores discretion. Returns beyond 7 days will be refused, unless at manager discretion, it is decided to allow store credit or be treated as a trade in.

All returns are subject to inspection and return approval by a Camera Bar Manager.

The following conditions must be met prior to a refund:

  • The item must be unopened, with all manufacturer seals intact. Opened items will incur a minimum 15% restocking fee.
  • The item must be accompanied by the original receipt (not a copy).
  • The total will be refunded by your original method of payment or a Camera Bar Gift Card.
  • If refunded to credit card or debit, the original cardholder must be present and provide the original     card used.
  • Cash purchases totaling more than $50.00 will be refunded by check.

Camera Bar does not accept for refund or exchange the following products:

  • If you claim a mail-in rebate, your item is not eligible for a return
  • Gift Cards
  • Open printers.
  • Open Memory Cards
  • Non-stocked special-order items*
  • Film
  • Chemistry
  • Batteries
  • Bulbs
  • Paper
  • Ink cartridges
  • New cameras and lenses

*Orders placed for non-stocked special-order items are considered final sale. Pending orders cannot be cancelled.

Camera Bar  gift cards cannot be redeemed for cash.

Restocking Fees & Replacement Items

If Camera Bar Management determines, in its sole discretion, that an item is returnable but does not meet all of our guidelines, a restocking fee will be applied to the return. Restocking fees are a minimum 15% of the original purchase price of the item. The fee charged may increase according to the item's condition, the state of the item's packaging and the item value. Returns that are incomplete of any original accessories will also be charged the retail value for a replacement item. Camera Bar reserves the right to refuse the refund of any product that does not meet these criteria.

Shipped Orders

  • The full Camera Bar Exchange & Return policy applies to all shipped orders.
  • All items eligible for return or exchange can be brought directly to our retail location.
  • Items shipped to the customer can be shipped to Camera Bar by mail for return. Please contact Camera Bar Customer Support by e-mail (info@camerabar.com) or phone (860-525-2158) for instructions on how to return your purchase. Your shipment will be checked upon receipt. Any missing or damaged merchandise, parts or packaging will be reported to you within 10 business days of Camera Bar’s receipt and appropriate restocking fees will be applied.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable; however, we will refund your original shipping cost if the return is a result of our error.
